Swimming Australia, June 23 2016:Members of the Australian Dolphins Swim Team will race for the last time on home soil on Friday July 1 and Saturday July 2 at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre as part of the Rio Farewell Grand Prix.

This will be the last chance to see World Champions Bronte Campbell, Ellie Cole, Mitch Larkin, Tiffany Thomas-Kane, Emily Seebohm and Brenden Hall in action before they depart for the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio.

The stars of the recent Hancock Prospecting Australian Championships, Cam McEvoy, Cate Campbell and Emma McKeon along with rising stars Jess Ashwood, Mack Horton and Kyle Chalmers will also be in attendance with the meet an important step on their way to Rio.

The Dolphins will race in a heats and finals format over the two days that will see them test their skills and race fitness against the top swimmers from across Australia.

The Australian Junior Pan Pacs team will also be in attendance with names like Minna Atherton, Matthew Wilson and Shayna Jack looking to challenge the Olympic swimmers for top spots.

Entry is FREE with everyone invited to join in the excitement of our Dolphins last racing opportunity before Rio.

There will be a number of media opportunities over the weekend with accreditation available at the venue for pick up.

Please RVSP to this email with the names and number of accreditations that you require for the duration of the event.

-          Thursday june 30: Open Media session at Olympic Uniform distribution (10am-11am) Mercure Hotel (85-87 North Quay, Brisbane/off King George Square).

-          FRIDAY JULY 1: Open Heats session (10am) Finals (6pm) at Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Chandler. Vision of signing session from 11:20am and athletes available post session TBC

-          SATURDAY JULY 2: Open Heats session (10am) Finals (6pm) at Brisbane Aquatic Centre, Chandler, Vision of signing session from 11:20am and athletes available post session TBC
