FIRST AUSTRALIAN ATHLETES TO BE FORMALLY ANNOUNCED FOR GOLD COAST 2018 COMMONWEALTH GAMES

 

  

Swimming Australia: November 16, 2017: Commonwealth Games Australia will announce the first athletes to be part of Australia’s Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Team, tomorrow, Friday November 17 at 1.30pm at the Mitchell Park Pavilion, Mitchell Park, Southport Broadwater. 

Six triathletes will be the first confirmed athletes to be part of the Australian Team.

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games triathlon competitions will be held on April 5 and 7, at the Southport Broadwater Parklands. 

The individual triathlon events on April 5 will be first medal opportunities for Australia at the Games. 

Members of the team will be available to media following the announcement.
