AUSTRALIA WINS 30 MEDALS AT JUNIOR PACS IN GUAM

ellen fullerton and ryan napolian with gold medals photo hmg.jpgGuam, January 11:The Telstra Dolphins Australian Swim Team have completed their pool competition winning a further 10 medals - two of them gold on the final night's competition at the Leo Palace Resort Aquatic Centre in Guam. The four-day meet saw the young Dolphins win 30 medals - eight gold; 14 silver and eight bronze medals.

The USA were the top medal winning nation with a total of 33 (13 gold, eight silver and 12 bronze) with Australia second, followed by Japan with 19 medals (eight gold, eight silver and three bronze) followed by New Zealand on five medals (three gold and two silver) and Canada 12 medals (1 gold, three silver and eight bronze).

Here are the results after the completion of the pool events, with the 10km open water competition to start at 8.30am (local Guam time) Monday.
