AUSTRALIAN ALL-STARS TEAMS ANNOUNCED

On the final night of competition at the 2009 Australian Age Championships at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre Swimming Australia announced the Australian All-Star Teams.

The Age All-Stars and Youth All-Stars were chosen off the best performances in every event and age group across six days of competition.

The Australian All-Stars are split into two teams based on their respective age groups.

The Australian Age All-Stars are made up of the fastest performances across the three younger age groups (13 years &under, 14 years and 15 years) and the Australian Youth All-Stars are selected from the fastest swims across the 16 years and 17-18 year age groups.

The Australian Age All-Stars include Mikkalya Maselli-Sheridan the winner of nine gold medals as well as Australian Age record breakers Yolane Kukla, Mitch Larkin and Te Haumi Maxwell.

The Australian Youth All-Stars includes six members of the World Championship Swimming team bound for Rome in July - 2008 Olympians Cate Campbell, Belinda Hocking and Emily Seebohm as well as Australian team rookies Ryan Napoleon, Ellen Fullerton and Merindah Dingjan.
