ITU, Saturday, October 27: The cream of Australia’s triathletes braved all of the elements Auckland could throw at them last weekend at the 2012 ITU World Triathlon Championships and the green and gold Scody suits edged out the Kiwis on their home turf by just one gold medal, with the Trans Tasman rivals both claiming 47 medals in Total. Among the 19 gold medals won by Australians were Under 23 star Aaron Royle and Para-Triathlete Bill Chaffey.
