Australia's first Paralympic Triathlon Team to be announced
Triathlon Australia: 02 AUGUST 2016 - This Wednesday on the Gold Coast, the Australian Paralympic Committee (APC) will officially announce the seven athletes selected to the 2016 Australian Paralympic Triathlon Team.
With the sport of Triathlon making its debut in the Paralympic program, this will be Australia’s first ever Paralympic triathlon team, and will be lead by five-time world champion Bill Chaffey, who trains on the Gold Coast.
The Australian Paralympic Triathlon Team will also be the final sport to be announced on the 2016 Australian Paralympic Team, bringing the final number of selected athletes to 169.
Members of the media are invited to attend the announcement and meet athletes.
