On November 20 and 21 this year the NSW Water Ski Federation will present the 49th staging of the Hawkesbury River's famous "Bridge to Bridge" from Dangar Island to Windsor Bridge.

To whet your appetite for two action-packed days of power and speed on the water the NSW WSF will host a special Media Day on Wednesday, November 17, where members of the media can get out on the water and get a feel for one of life's most exhilarating feelings.

You can also rub shoulders with some of the sport's biggest names including four-time world and defending champion Team Stinga Racing, led by owner-driver Greg Houston and world class skiers Daniel Campbell, Grant Patterson and Jack Houston.

Meet 80-year-old Mary McMillan, the first lady of Australian skiing, who will strap on her skis for an amazing 49th "Bridge to Bridge" and ski alongside her 10-year-old great grand son Brock.

And find out why Darren OSmotherley will ski the "Bridge To Bridge" backwards twice in a Guinness Book of Records attempt that will see a helicopter take his boat back to start for a second run.
