STATEMENT FROM MAROOCHYDORE SLSC

March 29, 2012: It is the express wish of the family of Matthew Barclay that the 2012 Australian Championships continue tomorrow.

In accordance with their express wish, Maroochydore SLSC, at 1pm today, resolved to honour Matt's memory by resuming competition.

Some Maroochy members may choose to honour Matt's memory by not compete further, but they too will be present at North Kirra Beach, in the best traditions of our surf lifesaving family.
