Media Statement - Surf Life Saving Australia

Event update - 6pm

The 2010 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships has been suspended indefinitely while event organisers consider alternative options available to them.

Further event notification will be issued tomorrow at 10.00am (Qld time) after a decision is made as to whether the event will continue. A press conference will be held at 10.30am tomorrow at the Media Centre at Kurrawa Beach. 

No Surf Life Saving officials will be available to comment today.
