RESCUE 2010 - MEN RESCUE EGYPTIAN GOLD
October 8: Competition at Rescue 2010, the Lifesaving World Championships, has continued overnight, with Australia recording its first gold medal. The Men's SERC team of Downie Langthorne, Shannon Eckstein, Andrew Bowden and Mitch Parkes successfully defended their title from Rescue 2010 with a dominant performance - congratulations to the team.
After the second day of pool competition, the Italian and German teams remain in on top of the overall pointscore, with Australia sitting in fourth place behind arch-rivals New Zealand. Stay tuned to the SLSA website for daily updates.
