SEARCH FOR SURF LIFESAVING'S "CLUBBIE OF THE YEAR"

SURF LIFESAVING, August 23: Nikon Australia, in partnership with Surf Life Saving Australia are conducting an Australia-wide search for the inaugural Nikon ‘Clubbie of the Year Award"  to recognise the important contribution that surf lifesavers make to their communities every year.

All Australian surf lifesaving clubs and members have been invited to enter this award for the chance to share in up to $330,000 in cash and Nikon gear.

One worthy Australian Surf Lifesaver will be honoured with the title of the inaugural ‘Clubbie of the Year' - voted by the general public and announced at the National Awards of Excellence, to be held in Sydney on October 8.

 

The promotion is broken up into two phases -nominations and voting.

Phase One - Nominations

The ‘Clubbie of the Year' call for nominations is now open.

Visit http://www.nikonclubbieoftheyear.com.au/ to register your details by answering three simple questions and uploading a photo.

The Nikon ‘Clubbie of the Year' not only wins the prestigious title, but also wins $5,000 cash for their club and $5,000 cash for themselves.  Five runners up will win $1,000 cash for their club and $1,000 cash for themselves.

  • Entries close on September 4, 2011.

Phase Two - Voting

  • The Nikon ‘Clubbie of the Year' is the only ‘People's Choice Award' in the SLS Awards of Excellence so voting is open to the general public.
  • During the voting stage local communities should get involved and vote for their club's entrant.
  • The more people that vote for each entrant, the more Nikon will contribute to that club, up to $1000 RRP of Nikon product credit.
  • Voting is open from the 8 September - October 2, 2011.

The finalists and winner of the Nikon ‘Clubbie of the Year' with their prizes at this year's National Awards of Excellence, to be held in Sydney on October 8.
