The Aussies 2015 Media Accreditation Application

Surf Life Saving Australia, April 8, 2015: The Australian Surf Life Saving Championships (The Aussies 2015) is the biggest sporting event of the Surf Life Saving season, a surf sports showcase of the skills needed by our volunteers to ensure they are rescue ready. The event will attract 7,000 competitors from Surf Life Saving clubs across Australia.

To assist media covering the event, there will be a fully functional Media Centre open from 7.00am – 7.00pm daily from Saturday April 11 – Sunday April 19, 2015.

The Media Centre will be located adjacent to the Administration Centre.

The Aussies begin with the inaugural Youth Championships on April 11 and 12 with the first Aussie Ocean Swim from Greenmount to North Kirra also on this Sunday; followed by the Masters Championships on April 13 and 14 and the five-day Open Championships from April 15-19.
